Twitter intends to make TweetDeck an exclusive feature of Twitter Blue

According to a mention in the back-end code of the app, TweetDeck, Twitter’s own platform for managing tweets, will soon become a Twitter Blue exclusive feature, making it accessible only to paying Twitter users.

According to a code snippet published by Twitter Takeover News, Twitter appears to be getting ready to introduce TweetDeck as a Twitter Blue add-on feature. This move would help to expand the Twitter Blue product offering and entice more users to sign up for the monthly subscription service. For too long, TweetDeck has been largely ignored by Twitter, and many of its features are now obsolete.

Twitter would require about 33 million paying subscribers, a significant increase from what it has seen so far, in order for Twitter Blue to contribute 50% of Twitter’s overall revenue, which was Musk’s stated goal for the project.
