Twitter Blue Subscribers Receive 50% Ad Reduction Incentive

Twitter Blue gained a new feature as the company finally carried out its long-promised plan to lessen the amount of advertisements that users of the app see. However, this plan falls short of what Twitter had initially suggested in its communications.

Elon Musk, the head of Twitter, promised that subscribers would eventually see half of the app’s advertisements back in November when he laid out his strategy for the new Twitter Blue package and included a blue checkmark.

Twitter is currently lessening the amount of ads that appear in the main timelines, the platform’s primary user interface, but Blue subscribers will continue to see the same number of ads in every other component.
