Telestream, a Genstar Capital portfolio company, has announced the acquisition of Encoding.com, a cloud media processing platform, in a strategic move to expand its presence in the cloud-media processing market.
Encoding.com is a privately held corporation based in the United States with development resources across the world. The staff will be merged into Telestream, and the two founders of Encoding.com, Gregg Heil, CEO, and Jeff Malkin, President, will assume senior leadership roles throughout Telestream’s cloud activities as part of the deal.
The united engineering divisions will speed up the development of new features and services, allowing for continuous cloud migration.
