Regie.ai, a start-up that uses OpenAI’s GPT-3 text-generation system to produce sales and marketing content for businesses, announced that it has raised USD 10 million in Series A funding. The funding round was led by Scale Venture Partners with participation from Foundation Capital, South Park Commons, Day One Ventures, and illustrious angel investors.
The new investment comes as venture capitalists (VCs) increasingly see an opportunity in copy-generating, AI-powered adtech companies, whose technology promises to save time while possibly enhancing personalization. Customers can use Regie to produce original content that is search engine optimized or make unique sales sequences.
Additionally, the platform provides tools for writing blog and social media posts that can be customized, as well as a Chrome extension that evaluates the “quality” of emails users send and, if necessary, rewrites the content.
