Google’s Privacy Sandbox to land on Android-01

Google has announced that Privacy Sandbox will come to android. The announcement marks the next step toward a targeted private advertising campaign that has already been modified by Apple’s display platform. While Google’s move may not be as influential as Apple, advertisers and social media platforms still need to be prepared for major changes.

Privacy Sandbox is intended to limit the sharing of user data with third parties, and eliminates the identification of various applications, including Google’s advertising ID that helps track and evaluate mobile campaigns. Upgraded last year, the advertising ID removed the identifiers when the user exited the personal ad. Google will continue to support its existing advertising ID service for at least two additional years to provide sufficient time for vendors to adapt to major changes.
