Willo, a Scottish start-up that allows users to conduct easy video interviews, has secured £250k ($320k approx.) funding from VC firm 1818 Venture Capital and board members. The newly raised capital will allow Willo to expand globally, increase the talented workforce, and focus on R&D.
The startup, which has grown at least 80% each month since April, is already used in more than 60 countries across the globe. It has also garnered 60% of new business since March in a wide range of areas, including reviews, training, and learning and development.

Willo saw a strong engagement worldwide as companies and businesses were forced not to conduct face-to-face interviews, and the resource required to conduct everything over Zoom or Skype was prohibitive, said Euan Cameron, CEO, and founder, Willo.
