Following the recent upgrade to Twitter’s embedding procedure for deleted tweets, the company has now reversed direction in search of a more feasible alternative.
Twitter modified the process last week, displaying this statement in place of all deleted tweet embeds. Twitter stated at the time of the update that it hadn’t decided its strategy and was taking a step back to reconsider.
According to the announcement, Twitter said that, “After reviewing the input we received, we’re rolling back this move for the time being as we explore new approaches. We thank individuals who voiced their opinions; your input helps us improve Twitter.”
