Twitter has taken a significant move around the evolving audio social sphere by introducing ‘Spaces’ access via the web. There is a vast majority of users who operate Twitter from desktop and this option will provide more engagement towards Spaces globally.
To join a Space from PC, users will first get a preview of the Space, similar to that in the mobile set-up – presenting a selection of the people available (both speaking and in attendance).
As explained by Twitter, “Spaces will be available on Twitter (mobile web, desktop web). Our focus areas: infrastructure and listening UI that adapts to your screen size, setting reminders for scheduled spaces, and accessibility and transcriptions.”
