According to data.ai: “In terms of the total revenue that users have contributed to TikTok’s life to date, Chinese iOS users and American consumers are tied.” Together, they have produced about 60% of the total, or about USD 6 billion, of which each has produced about 30% alone.

Therefore, even though TikTok has been a huge success in China, there is still a lot of consumer activity there, and Western users are also making purchases on the app.
