Meta has released a publicly accessible demo of its new Audiobox generative AI project, which allows users to create custom audio samples based on their own voice and/or text prompts.
The project was first shown last month and can replicate user’s voice using just a few seconds of sample audio. “Audiobox is Meta’s new foundation research model for audio generation,” the company stated. It makes it simple to create custom audio for a variety of use cases by combining voice inputs with natural language text prompts to generate voices and sound effects.
A variety of features, such as voice descriptions, sound effect creation, audio editing, and more, are available in the Audiobox demo.
