Meta to Test New Tools to Give Brands Control Over Ad Placements on Its Platforms-01

Meta, formerly known as Facebook, has announced the launch of new content capabilities that will allow advertisers more control over where their ads appear on Facebook and Instagram feeds.

Brands can use these tools to prevent their ads from being displayed next to undesirable content, such as political, tragic, or violent posts. The new content limits will be tested in the second part of this year, with an official rollout planned for early 2023.

During the testing phase, Meta says it would concentrate on English-speaking markets. Meta will expand its controls over the next year to cover ads in stories, video feeds, and Instagram. Meta also intends to expand the controls to more languages in the future.
