MeatEater announces the hiring of Andrew Barge as its Chief Content Officer. He will lead an expansive strategy to grow the company’s audience reach and monetize its media business, including the flagship MeatEater TV show. He will also lead a podcast network, a New York Times-bestselling publishing business, social media, web publishing, and live events.

Andrew’s experience in digital media, social media, and TV will boost the company’s ambitions to impact and influence Americans with a passionate interest in the outdoors.

He has had his career at Twitter, where he led content and supervised business development across all media publisher verticals and networks. Apart from this, Barge also spent six years in brand marketing, leading promotions and documenting series.
