With the ability to “star” selected conversations, LinkedIn has added a new way to track users’ messaging chats within the app. Users can now “star” their chat conversations so they can keep track of them in a special “starred” filter.
Which makes managing active, ongoing discussions a little bit simpler, similar to Gmail or other email clients. With new features like “Focused Inbox,” which adds a “Featured” and “Other” folder to separate chats, LinkedIn has been working to improve its messaging tools.
According to a recent LinkedIn report, conversations in the app have increased by almost 20% year over year. As a result, LinkedIn is currently working to enhance its DM options and encourage more engagement.
