Instagram had earlier added two-second looping videos to Notes, giving its top-of-inbox prompts another way to encourage engagement.
Currently, a different feature that would allow users to include Notes in their regular feed posts within the app is being tested. Instagram is testing internally the option to include a note in the post upload process, which would give the posts more context.
Viewers would then be able to see the Note by tapping on the profile bubble on a post, which could be another way to encourage app engagement.
