Google Chrome extensions have been updated, with new badges in the Google Store listings highlighting excellent extensions and creators.
According to the new update, extensions that fulfil Google’s technical best practises and reach a high quality of user experience and design will be awarded the Featured badge. The Featured badge and the Established Publisher badge are two new extension badges that Google has unveiled. The Chrome Web Store now has both badges available.
The badge designates ‘Established Publishers,’ who have confirmed their identity and proved compliance with Google’s developer program standards.
