In order to assist in the creation of cutting-edge speech recognition systems that can meet the demands of people with speech impairments, Google has announced that it is joining the Speech Accessibility Project.

Speech recognition is used to operate devices, access websites, translate speech, and use voice assistants. Five technology companies have come together to form the Speech Accessibility Project, which aims to make voice recognition accessible to people with irregular speech patterns. To enhance voice recognition, all five businesses are working together rather than independently.

The new initiative by the University of Illinois and five technology firms called the Speech Accessibility Project aims to develop technology that will make voice-activated technology more accessible to a wider range of users.
