Globo Partners with Amagi to Improve Broadcast with Cloud-Based FAST Channels

Amagi, a cloud-based SaaS technology for broadcast and connected TV (CTV), has partnered strategically with Brazil’s Globo. This partnership involves implementing six of Globo’s free ad-supported television (FAST) channels into the Amagi cloud-based playout platform. The collaboration aims to explore the possibilities of FAST channels within the Brazilian market.

Globo’s Technology Executive Director, Mauricio Felix, emphasized the potential for scale, workflow automation, and reliability offered by the Amagi platform. This move is expected to enable Globo to implement FAST channels with agility and at scale, thus expanding their reach.
