Facebook continues to expand the functionality of Facebook Reels, this time by introducing a collaborative Reels option that allows users to invite other users to co-author a Reels clip.
In the Reels creation flow, Facebook is currently working on a new “Invite Collaborator” option that will let users add another profile as a co-creator to be listed on the clip. In order to increase exposure opportunities for creators, Facebook’s parent company Meta has been looking into a number of new possibilities.
The social media organization also introduced Instagram’s “Collabs” feature and Facebook’s Creator Collaborations, which allow multiple creators to be listed on a single post.
