According to a press release, WPP has acquired the Southern California-based brand design firm Passport Brand Design. The transaction’s financial details weren’t made public.
Passport expands VMLY&R’s reach on the West Coast by joining its global network. The agreement expands VMLY&R’s design capabilities as well, enabling it to assist brands in developing connected consumer experiences and “showing up in compelling new ways.”
With the acquisition of Passport, VMLY&R will have access to design expertise that will help them create brand-building connected consumer experiences.
