YouTube has provided some new information on its Data Stories analytics test. The new offering will provide insights into user channel performance in a simple, Stories-like format, and is accessible to some users (at present) via YouTube Studio.

In August, a select group of users were given the opportunity to access the Data Stories feature from the Studio app’s main Overview page. Users can then access the Data Stories element, which offers condensed overviews of important channel performance aspects in a swipeable, full-screen display, by tapping on the prompt that reads “See how YouTube recommends content.”

According to YouTube, Data Stories can currently be displayed for four categories: audience, content, monetization, and YouTube education.
