YouTube has recently announced its new prompts that are designed to maximize voter understanding. This is valid for both the candidates as well as the voting process to increase participation. The US Presidential Election is only 40-days away, and this initiative will help combat misinformation surrounding the poll.

The newly added prompts will pop-up in searches for various terms, including “how to vote”, “how to register to vote”, and more. The alerts will then direct users to official voting tools by Google via a notable “learn more” CTA option.
YouTube is also adding in-app reminders for information on the election and voting.
