The Walgreens Advertising Group has announced that it will introduce the provision of a self-service and clean room plan, according to a media report.

Starting broadly in the second quarter, the automation system solution will allow product advertisers to target consumers using merchant data in their preferred demand-side platform (DSP) and can be accessed via The Trade Desk or OpenX, and more upcoming communication.

A clean room powered by Epsilon will allow advertisers to measure customer diversity while protecting data privacy, which is important as marketers look to strengthen their media networks amid the growing importance of their data to advertisers.
