On Wednesday, Dailymotion announced the launch of VerticalVue- its new video ad format. It is expected that the fresh start would help marketers enhance ad effectiveness by increasing visibility. VerticalVue will provide viewers with a non-disruptive and seamless watching experience. Also, it will allow vertical advertisements to play alongside the brand’s video content.
Ads will be muted unless a viewer hovers over it, giving users full control over their ad experience. Brands are allowed to use engaging creative advertisements that they have created for Instagram Stories and Snapchat with VerticalVue.
Bichoi Bastha, the Chief ad tech officer at Dailymotion, announced, “With new platforms giving consumers more options than ever for content consumption, advertisers are emphasizing quality and engagement to drive performance and attract viewers.”
