Twitter re-launches the alerts with a different format and further elaborates why all responses have been flagged. This came in after the company first launched a limited test of warning prompts on tweet responses comprising potentially impudent remarks last year.
The format has now changed significantly since the initial launch, which was a considerably more basic prompt. The format was updated before shelving the test during the peak time of the US election campaign. Now, Twitter’s working on the prompts once again, with iOS users now set to receive the alerts if Twitter identifies any potentially offensive terms in their replies.
