Some new X data has been made public as part of a larger announcement about a new brand safety collaboration with Integral Ad Science (IAS) for vertical video ad placements.
According to X, “A growing number of users are actively using X to watch and post videos, which is accelerating the platform’s growth.” With video comprising over 80% of user sessions, X has transitioned into a video-first platform. Year-over-year growth in views has been nearly 30%.
X is now attempting to provide greater assurance to brands interested in displaying their advertisements within this vertical video feed.
