Twitter has recently launched the beta version of its Spaces feature, a new, Clubhouse-like audio option within the app. The social media giant asked a small group of users to try out the audio-only, virtual rooms function.
This audio ‘Spaces’ will allow users to create an audio meeting that their connections can join – either by listening or participating actively. The audio meet-ups will be available in a purple icon on the Fleets bubble of the creators. This is to signify when an audio meeting is in progress and who all are participating.
As tweeted by Spaces, “aye, we’re live! What up y’all, we’re the team behind Spaces––a small experiment focused on the intimacy of the human voice.”
