Samsung Electronics Co. bans the usage of popular generative AI tools like ChatGPT after identifying employees uploaded sensitive code to the platform. The company is concerned about the leaked data used on ChatGPT, making it difficult to retrieve and delete and may result in disclosure to other users.
Samsung puts new rules against using generative AI systems on company-owned computers, phones, tablets, and internal networks. The new rules are not affected the company’s devices, such as smartphones and window laptops.
