Italy-based Musixmatch is known for providing community-supported lyrics for major music streaming platforms such as Spotify, shopping mode Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music and Tidal.

Now it is introducing a brand-new podcasting platform that combines community-verified editing and AI-generated transcription. Transcripts for some of the top podcast episodes on a variety of subjects and charts are automatically generated by Musixmatch’s podcast platform every day. It tags keywords like places, people, and topics with Wikipedia IDs—alphanumeric IDs connected to topics on Wikipedia—using the Umberto NLP base model architecture.

Transcripts can be exported by podcasters and added to apps and web feeds. Additionally, it is simpler for listeners to search for these lyrics because they are SEO-friendly.
