Social media managers and content creators have relied on third-party tools to schedule Instagram posts for quite some time. The business is currently testing an in-app tool for scheduling posts and reels, though.

The business acknowledged the development and stated that it is in fact testing this out. “Meta is testing the ability to schedule content with a percentage of our global community,” a Meta spokesperson said in a statement. The company made no mention of the feature’s general accessibility. Users who have access to this feature can choose a time and date by turning on the “Schedule this post” toggle while creating a new post or reel in Advanced Settings.

They also mentioned that the “Scheduled Content” section, which is accessible from the hamburger menu, allows you to view scheduled posts.
