When it comes to VR/AR, Facebook has always been ahead of the curve and is always working on new capabilities and features to enhance user experience. The social media giant has announced that it is working on new control tools that will allow users to control their AR experience with a wristband that can read muscle commands.
At the moment, Facebook’s new prototype can track simple gestures that the brain asks the hands to perform, which it calls “clicks.” The company says there is a lot more potential – “richer controls” that will allow users to move objects in AR mode or maybe shift parts of a virtual building around with a wrist gesture.
