Apple and Disney stopped advertising on X after the social-media network’s owner described an anti-Semitic post as “the actual truth” and posted it as Anti-Defamation League.

Several major advertisers on the ‘X’ social media platform cut off their spending after the post. The companies are cutting their ad spending with X upon facing antisemitic abuse on the site.

Advertisers have been wary about X as the owner now believes and wants more free and loosened content moderation rules.

This gave ad companies that the platform could supposedly place brands’ ads next to posts with offensive or hateful speech.
