Sappington, a leading technology marketing firm with headquarters in Seattle, WA, today announced the appointment of Amber Buntin as Account Manager. Buntin will manage key client relationships and support the firm’s strategic account growth. She will also manage a portfolio of high-touch projects, ensuring the delivery excellence for which Sappington is known.
Buntin comes to Sappington with a depth of experience as a manager of high-profile global events and marketing initiatives for the world’s top technology companies. She has led efforts and teams under the most demanding of circumstances and has a track record of anticipating and meeting clients’ diverse and specialized needs.

Most recently, Buntin managed significant events for Microsoft. She led the transformation of Inspire, one of Microsoft’s marquee partner engagement opportunities. It went from an in-person event for 15,000 partners to a fully digital program that reached a global audience of 115,000 registered attendees. She was project lead for some of Microsoft’s largest onboarding programs and training events as well as for senior executive engagements, including roundtables for the company’s CEO. As Business Program Manager and Project Manager on other high-visibility projects for Microsoft, she was responsible for communications across the organization and recognized by leadership for streamlining costs and maximizing impacts. She was also Event Project Manager for the law firm of Foster Garvey PC and Special Events Manager for the American Cancer Society.

A native of Shoreline, WA, Buntin has two B.A. degrees, in Psychology and Exercise Biology, from the University of California, Davis. She lives in Everett, WA with her fiancé and their one-year-old son.
