The latest research from Splunk has revealed that nearly 90% of businesses are not ready for the next stage of the Data Age. According to the report, “The Data Age is here. Are you ready?” 57% of business leaders say the volume of data grows faster than their organizations’ ability to keep up.
The majority of businesses think they will witness the quantity of data to grow nearly five times by 2025. The report is based on a survey of more than 2,000 global business and IT managers from the US, France, China, Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan, and the Netherlands.
The leaders see a significant opportunity in the increasing volume of data and believe the data is precious to their organizations for overall success, innovation, and cybersecurity.
