While 40% of marketers do not currently hold a marketing qualification related to sustainability, they would like to.
Despite this, more marketers are getting involved in sustainability work; three-quarters (76%) of marketers claim to have done so in the previous five years, and nearly half (45%) report feeling under pressure to highlight the sustainability credentials of their clients or company. According to a recent report released by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), this is the case.
The report examines the opinions of both marketers and consumers. 210 marketing professionals, 2,000 UK adults, and 1,193 respondents from an additional online survey, including CIM members, were all surveyed for the report.
