YouTube is currently testing the next iteration of Shorts, its TikTok-like short video feed. It is working on the new logo (icon) for the feature in the Android app. The YouTube Shorts icon will be available right below the primary logo, and there will be a listing of its clips alongside.
The clips can be discovered on the front page of YouTube via “Shorts Shelf” – a side-scrolling presentation of clips in the feed. This will be a broader roll-out of the platform’s new feature – competing with other short-video apps.

The company also noted that adding hashtag #Shorts in video clips title will increase the chances of appearing on the shelf.
