YouTube Introduces New Video Ad Campaign to Promote the Use of Shorts

With a new global ad campaign aimed at showcasing how individuals can use the possibility to add their own perspective on famous music trends, YouTube wishes to raise awareness of Shorts, it’s vertically aligned, TikTok-clone within the app.

The new Shorts ad campaign essentially explains how people have been using TikTok for years, but with a YouTube-specific focus. People will now be able to hit the ‘Shorts’ button when watching a music video to rapidly contribute their own take via Shorts, using sample audio from that clip, now that Shorts is accessible in all areas (in beta).
