YouTube has recently announced that it is introducing the TikTok-like ‘Shorts’ feature to its users in India. YouTube Shorts will be launched this week, which will let people watch and create short videos on the YouTube application. The 15-second video clips can be set with preferred music, recording options, different speed, and more.

The company confirmed that it would continue adding new features and expand to more regions soon. As mentioned by YouTube, “This is an early version of the product, but we’re releasing it now to bring you – our global community of users, creators, and artists – on our journey with us as we build and improve Shorts.”
