YouTube adds additional performance statistics for short videos, updated chat moderation role

As part of its latest feature update, YouTube is adding some new metrics for Shorts and demographics by uploading format in YouTube Studio. YouTube is planning to add new “Viewed in Feed” and “Viewed vs. Downloaded” data to the Shorts content view in YouTube Studio.

The new metrics will be available to all short film creators in Web Studio and Studio Mobile in advanced analytics as well as content-level statistics. YouTube is also adding new filters to display audience demographics by video format.

The social media platform is also launching a new moderator role with enhanced moderation actions for live chat. Lead Moderators will be able to help with all aspects of moderating and provide additional resources to use YouTube Live Help.
