WhatsApp continues to shape its e-commerce initiatives by adding more features to facilitate business-to-consumer relationships. In this latest addition, Whatsapp launched the ‘Carts’ tab to make it easier for the users to buy products via the messaging app.
This will enable people to add items while they engage with a business and then submit more orders all at once on the platform. As mentioned by Whatsapp, “With carts, people can browse a catalog, select multiple products and send the order as one message to the business.”
The company believes this will make it easy for sellers to track their order inquiries and manage requests from customers closing the deals.
