Vox Media has recently announced the launch of its new advertising solution, Concert Local – an extension of Concert, the company’s publisher-led programmatic ad platform. This is to help brands scale local messaging by connecting them with publishers and smaller media brands. It is suited to small- and medium-sized brands who are seeking enhancements, and for larger brands, Concert Local provides a way to diversify messaging channels.

The brands that are using Concert can buy ads spanning Vox-owned properties and other outlets using Vox’s first-party audience data. The new platform, with its Athena ad unit, will allow access to upmarket environments at scale, and these ad types are designed to load in-feed.
