U.S. State Attorney General & Justice Officials to Coordinate on Google Probe

U.S. state attorneys general and Justice Department officials will meet next week to share information on their investigations into Google probe, reports Reuters. The inquiries are about monopolistic behavior that may harm consumers through Google’s control of online advertising markets and search for traffic. As per sources, at least seven state Attorneys General who are part of the investigation have been invited to the meeting, said a separate WSJ report.

The discussions will involve Google’s dominance in online search, possible anticompetitive behavior in its Android mobile operating system, and the best division of labor as the probes move forward.
