Lately, Twitter has been surveying its users about the potential of introducing a range of emoji-style reactions on tweets – allowing people more ways for engaging quickly within the platform.
As a result, the social media giant is considering a radical change where people can see reactions to the tweets. According to Twitter, “We’re exploring additional ways for people to express themselves in conversations happening on Twitter.”
Along with this new initiative, the platform is also gauging user interest in the form of a Reddit style up and down vote feature. This could factor into tweet distribution as well as engagement.
