Twitter Tests New E-Commerce Features

Twitter is working on a set of new shopping tools that will eventually provide direct, in-stream product listings related to business profiles in the app, allowing users to store product listings and make purchases directly from the tweeted content in the app.

The most recent development in this regard is the addition of a new ‘Purchases’ tab in user profiles, which is now tied to the launch of the app’s Super Follows feature and displays any subscriptions and/or digital tickets purchased in the app.
