Earlier in March 2020, Twitter rolled out its stories-like feature ‘Fleets’ to the user in Brazil. Now it is expanding the option to the users in Italy – in order to gather more feedback on it.

It is similar to the stories of other platforms, where posts disappear after 24 hours. It is located at the top of the home page with a new panel of rounded profile icons.

The idea of creating this grew as many users reported that they don’t feel comfortable Tweeting regularly. As per Kayvon Beykpour, Product Head at Twitter – Tweets can be seen or replied to by anybody, and that feels permanent and delivers a good performance as per likes & retweet.
