Twitter may soon adopt a new strategy, which could once again alter the app’s course, with Elon Musk possibly leaving his position as CEO.

One of the primary concerns raised in a recent meeting between Twitter execs and ad industry folk was brand safety, and how Twitter will be able to ensure that their ads are not displayed alongside offensive content. Consequently, Twitter has added a few new options to reassure ad partners. Twitter is introducing new adjacency controls that will let brands prevent their promotions from showing up next to Tweets that contain specific keywords they’d prefer to avoid.

Additionally, Twitter will deepen its collaborations with DoubleVerify and Integral Ad Science, its brand safety partners.
