Twitter launches a new feature Quotes count

The social media platform recently launched a separate function for “Retweets” and “Retweet with Comment” for each tweet. Twitter hopes to provide better transparency with this new feature. The organization is currently testing a new, less complicated “Quotes” listing that could potentially replace the previous feature available on the presentation screen.

Jane Manchun Wong, Reverse engineering expert, said that the new “quotes” listing was noted in the back end code of the social media platform last week. The new Retweet feature was officially launched in May. The potential reason for the replacement is that the presence of both “Retweets” and “Retweets with Comment” in a single bar below the tweet looked cluttered.
