Twitter is experimenting with a new method of mending fences with developer partners in a new integration that will promote third-party products within the app when users complete certain activities.
The new project will promote third-party solutions developed through its developer platform when users, for example, ban someone in the app. The listed tools are being created as part of the Twitter Toolbox, which is a showcase of reputable third-party Twitter analytics and creation tools.
When Twitter users utilise the built-in capabilities to block or mute someone via the web app, they’ll receive a new, non-intrusive prompt suggesting various third-party services.
