Twitter is exploring new features, the most recent of which is new tweet labels, which might be added to tweets to provide additional information behind specific conversations.
The social media engine is reportedly working on a new in-stream label that will indicate when a tweet author has liked a response. Twitter is now highlighting some tweet author replies with a different text colour and a microphone symbol next to the comment in a similar test.
The aim is that this will increase interaction by alerting users to the most relevant comments from the author, as well as giving fans more prominence in comment streams.
