Twitter has recently announced its latest trial of advertisements within Fleets – its take on the stories format. This will certainly see ads inserted in Fleets as users tap through the full-screen mode.

In fact, the platform is also planning to introduce similar full-screen advertisement experiences to other elements in the app. The social media giant is focused on learning more about how users feel and engage with this new feature.

As explained by Twitter, “As we experiment on this new surface for ads, we’ll take a close look at how vertical, full-screen ads perform on Twitter. We want to understand how this content performs for customers not just for Fleet ads, but for future iterations of full-screen formats on Twitter.”
