Twitter Confirms Development of an Edit Button

Twitter Confirms Initial Test of Fleets Ads_ Expansion of Full-Screen Format-01

Twitter has confirmed that it is developing an edit button that will enable users to modify tweets after they are published.

The move comes after Tesla CEO Elon Musk, a new board member, polled his followers on Twitter about whether they wanted the feature. Numerous users have long pleaded for the addition of an edit button, but there are concerns about how to implement it. Twitter announced that it would begin testing the concept in the coming months.

Subscribers of Twitter Blue, the platform’s subscription service, gain early access to features that the company is testing. Users may be able to edit typos or errors in a tweet without affecting the number of replies, retweets, or likes the tweet has already received.
